Why hasn’t the deposit been refunded to my account?
When the car is handed over, the rental amount and a deposit of NOK 15,000 are reserved on your card. This amount is not deducted from your account but is frozen as a temporary reservation. After the car is returned, we wait three days before ending the contract to register any toll crossings and ferry fees. Once the contract is concluded, the reservation is deleted, and the deposit is released. This typically takes five working days after the contract ends.
How does parking and ANPR work?
Most parking facilities use Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), which automatically starts and stops parking when you enter and exit. Payment information is available on-site, and payment typically occurs via the parking company's website or a mobile app. In some locations, there are also parking machines where you enter your vehicle's registration number. We encourage our customers to pay for parking themselves to avoid expensive fees. If parking charges are incurred later, an administrative fee of NOK 100 will apply for each parking instance.

How does your deposit system work?
At the start of the rental period, we reserve an amount on your card that corresponds to the rental sum and a deposit. This amount is not deducted from your account but remains reserved until the car is returned and the rental period is concluded. The reservation acts as a guarantee for any expenses related to the rental. When the rental period ends, your card is charged for the actual costs, and the reservation is released within 48 hours. Please note that it may take 5–7 days for the amount to become available again, depending on your bank or card provider. If you experience any issues, please contact your bank or card company.
Do I need a credit card to rent a car?
Yes, a credit card is required for rental. Exceptions apply for businesses with an invoice agreement.
Are you open on weekends?
Yes, we are open both Saturday and Sunday.
Are the rental cars equipped with toll tags?
Yes, all our cars have toll tags. Costs for toll crossings will be added to the rental amount retroactively.
Can I pick up or drop off the car at Tromsø Airport?
Yes, for an additional fee, we can deliver or receive the car at Tromsø Airport. The price is NOK 1,500 each way.
