The personal information we have recorded is accessible and can be changed on your profile, which you can find inside the online booking service after logging in. You can also contact us and request that we remove your personal information or unregister you from our systems. You will then no longer be able to use the service unless you register again.

Personal Information to Third Parties
Lyngenfjord Car Rental will not sell, exchange, or transfer your personal information. Online bookings are handled in a system provided by Sharefox.

Payment Information
When you place an order, your card information is stored with the payment provider DIBS to process your order. DIBS stores the information securely and responsibly and is PCI certified. This allows us to handle order changes, cancellations of reservations such as deposits, refunds, additional costs incurred by the user (due to late returns, damages, or similar), and to reduce fraud and losses. Transaction information related to your order will be stored, but not the card details. Transaction information will be retained as long as you are registered as a user of the service, in accordance with the section on personal information.

Use of Collected Information
The personal data collected for these purposes includes both information you provide (name, email address, etc.) and information collected through the use of the service, such as what equipment you rent and information about your position, device technical information, and internet connection. The personal information may be supplemented with available information from third-party sources.
